The design of a personalized jewel is the result of a continuous exchange with the customer. Every jewel is inevitably artistic and truly different from others. He usually sends drafts of the project via email to customers and uses WhatsApp for a quick review and / or brief consultations. CASTALDO collaborates with the best Italian artisans and works hard with all its experience to satisfy the customer. Sometimes he develops the project following the client's requests, suggesting different designs. Sometimes customers have the exact idea to make. In both cases, his job is to help them turn their ideas into some real jewelry work.
Once the project has been approved, the next step is modeling the concept. The final wax model may require a variable time depending on the complexity of the object. For 3D models it's possible to check the work in progress of the digital model; he usually provides a link to a 3D environment where the customer can see a preview of the model. For many models he uses a manual modeling process; he works the wax block in which the ring, pendant or any other object will be carved, directly. He uses different techniques; the ultimate goal is to get the best wax model ready to be melted. Manual wax carving, “intaglio” Some fine jewelry projects are not designed to be made with digital modeling. For example, some organic shapes, curves and some characteristic drawings are often manually chiseled. To obtain small-sized sculptures, he uses waxes of different hardness: from soft wax (such as wax candle) to hard-wearing hard waxes, which best adapt to very fine details and precision carvings. He works the wax to be melted using precision tools such as scrapers, blades, tips, compasses and other hand tools. 3D modeling The idea is developed thanks to the skill and experience of the designer, who, using a software, is able to realize 3D model of the object. Through realistic images of the model obtained, the client is able to visualize a simulation of the finished jewel. To do this, the artist will send these images by email for approval before proceeding with 3D printing (through a professional high-definition printer) and merging. THE ARTIST IS INTERESTED IN THE RESULT. Regardless of the technique used, he prefers to send different images of the object for approval to the customer before proceeding with the manufacture.
Investment casting is a process of creation of a jewel based on the casting of a melted metal into a negative mold. This technique has been used for thousands of years and even today in the production of jewelry modeled by CASTALDO. These are the phases of manufacturing: the model in wax, made as described before, is enclosed into a shell of chalk. Then chalk is placed into a special oven (high-temperature oven), in which, during many hours, wax evaporates leaving no residual. Once has cooled and stabilised, the cylinder of chalk is placed into special equipments, ready to receive in theirs cavities (imprint left by wax model) the melted metal. Cooled for the second time, the cylinder can be dismantled to get the rough models in metal, and it is ready for the next manufacturing and manual finishing touch.
After the casting, the jewel has the shape of the final product but with a coarse surface. This is a critical phase of the process of manufacturing. CASTALDO polishes the object: only his expert hands, provided with high perception, will set the final quality of the object. After this manual stage, done using sandpaper and felt to polish, the jewel is finished and ready to be sent to the customer.

Definitions In these terms -"Seller" means the seller of the Goods as defined herein; "Buyer" means the entity purchasing the Goods; "Goods" means the goods, products and materials manufactured, delivered by Seller to Buyer, as such were approved by Seller in reply to Buyer's order and accordingly listed in the Approval of Order; "Approval of Order", in respect of any Buyer's order, means the instrument issued by Seller, bearing the same reference number of such order and specifying, among any other terms, the items of Goods, including their respective price and quantity, which shall be supplied to Buyer upon such order; "Contract" means the contract for the supply of Goods which have been ordered by Buyer and specified in Seller's Approval of Order, which contract is concluded based on these Terms and Conditions of Sale unless otherwise specified in the Approval of Order. Payment See General Sales Conditions Prices, Duties and Taxes See General Sales Conditions Delivery See General Sales Conditions Warranty Seller warrants that Goods sold hereunder meet their descriptions or specifications, subject to use, storage and application thereof in accordance with and based on Seller's standard tolerances, instructions of use and recommendations. The seller will provide, according to the products, the legal guarantee of the conditions by the art. 128 and following of the Legislative Decree n. 206/2005. In particular, in the event of bankruptcy, the customer will have the right to obtain reimbursement of the price and delivery costs from the seller. The rights of the legal guarantee can be exercised if the products have been used correctly, with a certain diligence and in respect of the intended use as expressed in the enclosed instructions, as well as the display by the customer of the invoice and order. All costs for the refund of the product, due to the guarantee, will be charged to InArte/The seller. The guarantee of conformity will be applied for defects not caused by normal use of the product. Cancellation See General Sales Conditions Custom made products According to the provisions of art. 59, paragraph 1, letter C, of the Consumer Code, the right of withdrawal, cancellation or refund, which otherwise would not be available, is excluded for customized products without prejudice to the paragraph 10, that is to say, in the case in which the realization of products by the client specific requests both literal and figurative. In relation to this personalization, the customer recognizes that the graphic representation suggested by the Website may be different from reality; the images and images of the inscription, in fact, may not reflect the current appearance of the final product. Lack of conformity In case of a production defect shown in a product purchased by the buyer or for any lack of conformity, the customer must immediately contact the online assistance at the following address: roberto@inarte.it Articles 129, 130 and 132 of the Consumer Code are applicable for the sale of all products. The customer has the right to restore, without charge, the conformity of the asset through repair or change, or if such solutions fail, an appropriate reduction of expenses or the termination of the contract. The customer loses all rights if he does not inform InArte of the lack of conformity within 2 (two) weeks from the date on which the error was discovered. Upon receipt of the form and related documentation, the seller will examine the lack of conformity reported by the customer and, following quality checks, to verify the actual lack of conformity of the product, will decide, at its discretion, whether to authorize the reimbursement of the product, sending the customer an email response to the address indicated during registration on the site. The authorization to reimburse the products does not imply, in any case, the recognition of anomalies or conformity defects, the presence of which must be found once the product has been returned. The products for which the seller has authorized the return, must be sent by the customer, together with a copy of the communication of authorization to return, within 30 (thirty) days from reporting of defect or lack of conformity, to the following InArte address, via Sapri 54, 10127 Turin. If the evaluation of the returned products has a positive result and the right to cancel the order has been legitimately recognized to the customer within the established terms and according to the agreements, the seller will reimburse the customer the full cost for the purchase of the product, together with the shipping costs, in the shortest possible time and, in any case, within 14 days (fourteen). In any case, the delivery costs and any fees for shipping the product from the customer to the seller will be charged to the customer. The above refund will be made with the same payment method used by the customer at the time of purchase: the customer must immediately notify the seller, via email roberto@inarte.it the address of the wallet on which to make the reimbursement. Change of product (size change) The seller, through InArte site, offers its customers the opportunity to modify the products purchased on the site: to this end, the customer must follow the procedure below: The customer who is not completely satisfied or believes there is a discrepancy with the order, must keep all the documentation related to the delivery and the product in its original packaging and immediately contact InArte via email at the following address roberto@inarte.it, following all the procedures indicated in paragraph 6 of “General Sales Conditions” The product to be returned must be sent in the original packaging to the following InArte address, via Sapri 54, 10127 Turin. InArte and the Seller reserve the right to examine the returned product and, once detected discrepancies, will proceed with the replacement of the same. To return the product, it is necessary to contact InArte to the following address roberto@inarte.it. All expenses related to the delivery of the product are charged to the customer. The refund of the product, as provided by paragraph 6 of “General Sales Conditions” and to the given conditions, will be carried out only once.
